I am curious on how everyone manage your time. What tools you use?
Since long ago, starting from early secondary school, I’ve been managing my homework by writing them down on a small piece of paper and keep it in my pencil box. Whenever I finished a homework, i “cross” off the task by drawing a box around it and fill it with pen hatching. By the time I finished all my homework, the paper would be filled with ink~!
Later, I started using an organizer. It was very useful. I can track a lot of things in it, like birthdays, what to do, appointments…etc. Then i started to keep my notes and receipts in it until it is overloaded.
Not long after that, I ditch the organizer and started making my own organizer by cutting 2 Ring hard-cover file. It doesn’t look nice as I didn’t do any decoration on it but it is very functional. Everything is customized according to my usage and lifestyle.
Then, I switched to digital organizer aka Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). I’ve been using it for about 3 years now and It’s still something new to me. The possibilities are endless. It can also be use as any other things, such as a media player, photo album, general reference device, alarm clock…etc. The only drawback so far is it need battery to run and it is fragile. That’s why you see me carrying mine in a big hard shell.
All the tools I used had their pro and cons. It all depends on what we need. What are the pro and cons? What type of organizing system I use? That, I’ll leave it to the next topic.
What are your tools of choice?

ms Veronica Ho
I’ve just heard the news of Ms Veronica Ho, Founder and Dean of The One Academy passed away last week. From my source, she passed away due to breast cancer. Rest in peace, Ms Veronica Ho.
Last month, 1 of my secondary school ex-classmates also passed away, due to heart attack. His passing shock even his family members and friends. He is healthy when the attack occurred.
I did not expect to hear these news but this is the reality. Things happen unexpectedly. Things turned ugly.
It is also served as a reminder for me to live life at its fullest, each and everyday.
To my friends who are still alive. I hope you have a good life.
To myself, remember, you are only a human.
Thanks for reading. Stay alive, stay healthy.

2008 will be gone today,
all together 365 days,
we cherished them in every way,
and today is the very last day.
2008 will become the past,
what we have now will never last,
2009 we welcome and cheer,
but the future is always never clear.
Be prepared and be strong,
so we all can live very long.
Eat well, sleep tight and exercise,
so our mind will always be precise.
Do a favor and be a savior,
you may be a life saver.
Clear your debt and rid your crap,
you may be in a serious trap.
By now I hope you will know,
with everything that I have shown,
you are a godsend,
you are my friend til the very end.
I wish you well,
away from hell.
Happy 2009~!
We’ll meet again at cloud9~!
Best wishes to everyone from mok|matsuru.net
