It was a clear Sunday Afternoon when I received a phone call from Misao, asking me where and when to meet.
“Hello! Matsuru, I am Misao…..”
“Ohh… har…Hi ^^; ” hmm…. not quite the kind of voice I had expected; a bit ‘wild’ and outgoing…
“So, what time and where u wanna meet?”
“Where are you now?” The background was kind of noisy, as if she was in wet market.
“I am at Chee Cheong Kai-lah” she was in PJ Street.
“ohh ok!” glancing at my watch, which told me it was 1.35pm,”I’ll meet you at Pyramind, 3pm”
“OK..” she agreed. She should have enough time to finish off her shopping and take a bus ride down to Sunway.
I continued my work after the call. Yes, I was working on Sunday, racing against time to finish off the school book illustration by 2pm. Luckily, I managed. Took a quick shower and finished decorating myself a little bit at about 2.30pm, it was time to head to Egypt…I mean Pyramid.
On foot, I was 5 minutes earlier when i arrived at the main entrance, the meeting spot. Looking around the place trying to see whether Misao has arrived. Nope, not yet. Then, my attention was caught by some noise inside the shopping mall. I walked in and was greeted by Sheila Majid!!!
Nope, not in person-lah! ^^ There was an event going on on the LL1 centre hall. An attempt to registered itself as most hair-dying job done in 3 days in Malaysia book of Records. Well, they succeeded in registering my Malaysia Boleh records of stupid attempts though.Off topic, will blog about this later.
Ms.Sheila Majid was the guest of honor for the event. She was speaking on behalf of the hair-dye product and was singing “Aku cinta padamu”. I managed to take few pictures of her from the ground floor.
I checked my phone to find out that I got a miss call from Misao and an SMS stating that she missed her bus and will be late. OK, now i have all the time i needed to watch Sheila Majid. After about 15 minutes wait, I got a miss call again. She had finally arrived.
The first thing that came into my mind when i see her walking from the bus-stop towards me is “Have I dated a primary school kid?”
No, this is not an insult. Misao is really small in size. I have met her before on Axn Anime Fest. but at that time, she looks OK in her costume. This is the first time I saw her in plain clothings. Before I go on much further, I must let you know that Misao, is above 20 years old.
In my mind, Misao is a very quiet, soft-spoken kind of person. But in reality, she is the opposite. She is very active, spontenous, talkative, Laugh easily and not to mention, very cute indeed. My impression of her was smashed into zillion pieces of tiny little microns but soon after that, a whole new image of her starts to build up. That is, the real Misao, the person behind Haku in Axn Anime Fest.
We stepped into Delicious Kitchen, a chinese restaurant in Pyramind to have lunch. Actually, I am the only one eating while she watched. After that, we went to Anime Tech at LL3. After checking out some Animes, we walked around the mall floor by floor and finally settle down at Pizza Hut. We were talking all the while, from introduction on ourselves, Anime and manga to the most embarassing moments in our life. We were having lots of fun and laughter. Of course, being a Naruto Fan myself, we had quite a long conversation on the comic. I was being attacked by waves of persuation to cosplay as one of the characters.
After about 6 hours of meeting, we say good-bye to each other, only to find out that later that night, we meet again in cyber world. The results, none stop chat until 4 in the morning.
As a conclusion, I fully enjoy myself that day and I believe that she too had a great time, despite that she had pain cheeks for laughing too much.
